My first morels


The whole time I spent in Indiana, I heard about morels. I didn't now what they were, and having an aversion to mushrooms, didn't really go out of my way to find out. S found these ones in Crawfordsville, sautéed them, and froze them for my visit. They were pretty good. Mild flavor, fleshy, interesting. Delicious with BBQ pork chops and asparagus!
