Oh, television

On a whim, I started watching "United States of Tara." In Season 2, they buy the neighbor's "retro" 70s house, which is a time capsule to perfect, high modernism (late 60s, early 70s). They start smashing walls and stuff, and in every scene, all I can think is, "no, don't do it! I want those curtains*! The dust!"

Look at the lamp. The coffee table. The desk with those tapered legs. Sigh.

*This scene doesn't have the good curtains; they have plants on them, and are in the living room, if you are a fan.
