A tiny hole in my apple tree has been a suspicious thing since I moved here.* After keeping the curtains closed for two weeks, I let in the light today. The kitties glued themselves to the window until the tiny tenant of the tree appeared, whipping his tail as quickly as they were.
He will probably be our entertainment all winter. I might have to leave food out for him, though; he's so cute.*I know this is a non-traditional ordering of my clauses, but my writing is rusty, and it just feels right.
