I just signed over my first born. Can we live in it now?

No. We need all the first borns in all subsequent generations too.

I get when things like roofs are expensive. We need that. I'm puzzled flooring costs more than a roof. Now we need the roof to protect our expensive flooring. Or, how does it take a plumber 8 hours to change a sink? I've done that before. Would it have taken me longer? (Last night at girls night, I recommended my single academic friends date plumbers. "They make more per hour than I ever will.")

$10k here, $10k there... $1k for what I thought sounded like a $200 thing... feeling ready to  move in even if it's still a stye...

Next week is Thanksgiving. I made my first full meal with turkey last year, but won't be in the house in time this year. Maybe we can reenact it in December.
